Seller Rules & Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in participating in our first ever Mom-to-Mom Sale! To ensure a smooth, successful event for everyone, please review and follow the guidelines below. 

 

Event Details

Date: Saturday, April 18

Shopping Hours: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Seller Shopping: Sellers may shop before doors open to the public during set up hours


Setup Options

  1. Night Before Setup: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

OR

  1. Morning of Setup: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM

All setups must be completed by 9:00 AM on Saturday as doors will open promptly at 9:00 for guests to begin shopping.


Items for Sale

To maintain a high-quality shopping experience:

  • Items must be clean, gently used, or new

  • Baby & children’s clothing, toys, books, gear, and maternity items are all encouraged

Large items:

  • Including but not limited to: pack n plays, strollers, high chairs, baby swings/bouncers, ride on toys, play kitchens, large toy bins, activity centers, other furniture

  • All large items must be displayed in the designated “Large Item Area” only

  • Each seller is limited to FOUR large items, unless pre-approved

  • Large items will be display only during shopping hours for safety purposes unless approved by venue staff

  • All large items must be clean, fully assembled, and in safe working condition

  • We will provide a tag to you during set up for each large item where you will indicate your name/contact info, table number, and the price of your item. Buyer will complete payment directly with the seller at their table. Seller will mark item “sold” in large, bold marker on the tag. Item may be removed from the designated area after 1:00PM unless prior approval is given.

Please do not bring:

  • Dirty, stained, broken, or recalled items

  • Car seats or cribs

  • Items with missing parts or missing safety labels

  • Weapons of any kind, illegal drugs or substances, alcohol or tobacco materials

  • Opened or used personal care items

  • Homemade food, baked goods, or beverages that were not pre-approved

We reserve the right to ask sellers to remove any items that do not meet these standards.



Pricing & Payments

  • Sellers are responsible for pricing and selling their own items

  • Please clearly price all items

  • Sellers must bring their own cash and change

  • No shared checkout will be provided


Responsibility & Liability

  • Sellers are responsible for monitoring their own items

  • The venue and event host are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items

  • Please plan accordingly and do not leave high-value items unattended


Setup & Display

  • One 8 foot table will be provided

  • Racks, hangers, and other display materials are not provided. Limited space is available for additional items and must be pre-approved by Country Venue.

  • Displays must remain within your assigned space

  • Please keep walkways clear for strollers and foot traffic


Tear Down

  • Early teardown is not permitted

  • Tear down may begin at 1:00 PM

  • All unsold items must be removed by the seller. Items that are not removed will be donated to the Sanilac County Baby Pantry


Seller Courtesy

  • Be respectful to fellow sellers and shoppers

  • Keep your area tidy throughout the event

  • This is a family-friendly event—please help us keep it welcoming for all

  • By registering as a seller, you agree to follow all event rules and understand that failure to comply may result in removal from the event without refund
